House cleaned, case packed (is it too heavy, is it too heavy, is it too heavy...), cab booked. Finnair hasn't been cancelled today out of London it seems, so fingers crossed. My Finnish friends have been sending me handy hints - 'It's cold', they say, 'make sure you bring warm clothes' (hence the worry about the weight of the case).
So, here we go. The frozen north again. I've missed it. I'm really looking forward to seeing my friends and my summer family. And the aurora borealis if it deigns to put in an appearance.
